"John Orion Young, a VR sculptor and technologist, is creating a dapp-powered VR world called JOYWORLD, where users can collect and trade unique digital 3D sculptures using a custom ERC-721 contract on the Ethereum blockchain. His smart contract has processed over 130 ETH and he expects to be able to live off the revenue soon. John built the entire JOYWORLD website himself, and he believes that by removing the distance between the artist and the collector, it makes the experience more direct and personal.
